In 2008, Marianne Bak began working with Hotel Hesselet to start the clinic, which is located in connection with the wellness area. I took over the Hesselet clinic in 2024, but was already a familiar face at the hotel, as I had been an assistant in the team since 2010.
I am a trained physiotherapist and have worked in the profession for 15 years. Now I work exclusively with the hotel's spa treatments and with ceramics and paintings, which you can find in several places in the hotel.
Over the years, the clinic has developed, so that it now employs up to 5 skilled freelance assistants and offers a wide range of wonderful treatments, spa, wellness and health resorts for both body and soul.
The massage we offer here is a gentle relaxation massage that calms the nervous system and provides good opportunities for the body's own healing mechanisms. Massage has been used as a healing treatment for many thousands of years. Recent research also shows that massage is extremely beneficial for both our physical, psychological and mental well-being. We have created a very special pampering and health-giving universe for you as a guest, filled with care and high professionalism.
Children between the ages of 0 and 15 are allowed to use our pool and spa area between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. People over the age of 15 have free access to our pampering area with swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna.
Reviews
Hotel Hesselet is located by the beech forest, with a view of the Great Belt and the beach, a unique setting for the perfect stay. Here, in 1967, one of Denmark's most beautiful design hotels was built with an eye for detail and quality.
